Before World tour calendar starts, who is in favor of radio ban, did you really noticed a change in race tactics or outcomes ?
The race is done by riders, with their legs and heads. Not team director from the car. Just my 2 cents
@marcopinotti Marco, do you favour radio information going from organisers to the riders for safety announcements?
@marcopinotti or do you mean that radios should be allowed, and that they don't influence tactics?
@SSbike even if I perdonally like it w/o radios I'm for the second one. Radio from organizers won't let you repair from bad luck
@SSbike no change in tactics, but bad luck in wrong moment & u can say adios to your chances. Even if I reckon this is part of the game
@SSbike anyway I am just saying I see no real changes, so I don't see the point of fighting on this issue. Or do u think it changed smthing?
@marcopinotti not sure- you'll know better if it has or hasn't! I could understand the reason why the UCI said they wanted to change it
@marcopinotti but of course they have to be able to show it does have the desired effect. I don't like the way it has been done, and that
@marcopinotti no alternatives have been publicly considered to protect riders (one way radios, radio Tour, etc). No wonder there are
@marcopinotti protests and people unhappy. For me, total radio ban has more negative than positive consequences
